Let’s Go Tigers!!

AAA is proud to announce that we have been accepted into the Gwinnett Football League (GFL) for the 2011 Football Season.  Under the leadership of our Cheer Director, Lisa Millhof, we will  offer football cheerleading for grades 1st - 8th. 

Important Dates:

Saturday, October 15      Regular season ends
Saturday, October 22      Playoffs begin
Saturday, November 12   Championship games

Age Groups Available:

The League Age Chart is based on your child's grade as of the 2010/2011 school year:

  • 1st Grade - Age 6
  • 2nd Grade - Age 7
  • 3rd Grade - Age 8
  • 4th Grade - Age 9
  • 5th Grade - Age 10
  • 6th Grade - Age 11
  • 7th Grade - Age 12
  • 8th Grade - Ages 13 to 15
  • Please bring a copy of your child's birth certificate (raised seal) to walk-up registration or one of the two fittings.

    Cheer Cost:  Registration

    The registration cost for AAA 2011 Football Cheerleading is $225.00.  This includes a mandatory $100 spirit fee. The spirit fee goes directly to your cheerleader's squad. Spirit fee includes:

    • End of year banquet
    • Trophies
    • Roster T-Shirts
    • Pep Rally Supplies
    • Cheer Gifts
    • Cheer Off Fee
    Cheer Cost: Uniforms

    Uniform cost is going to be $230.  Uniform cost is due at fitting on April 19th or April 21st  from 5:30 - 8:30 at Archer High School.  Uniform cost includes the following:
    • Shell               
    • Skirt               
    • Body Liner     
    • Bloomers        
    • Ribbon                       
    • Shoes              
    • Pom Poms
    A mandatory uniform fitting will take place on April 19th and April 21st. 

    Everyone MUST attend one of those days in order to cheer.  Cheer uniforms will be the same for the 2010 and 2011 AAA Football Seasons.

    Cheer Cost:  Optional Cheer Gear

    AAA will offer the following optional cheer gear items.

    Bag                  $10.00    ($5.00 for embroidery)

    Windsuit          $75.00    ($5.00 for embroidery)

    Hoodie            $40.00    ($5.00 for embroidery)


    Practice/Games

    Teams will typically have an average of  three practices per week prior to the start of the season. After the season begins, teams will usually have two practice per week.  Note that this is dependent upon the availability of the facilities, the number of teams, school closings, etc. Girls will cheer at all Saturday games. Eight Grade cheerleaders may cheer on Tuesday and Saturdays.  Our home games will be played at Archer High School.

    Cheer Camp

    Included in the registration fee is the cost of AAA Cheer Camp. The Cheer Camp will take place at Archer High School. The Archer High School Cheerleaders will work directly with the AAA Cheer Squads.  Cheer Camp will take place during the week of July 25th - 28th from 6:00 - 8:30 pm at the Archer High School Football Stadium.


    Stunt Camp

    Stunt camp will take place at Extreme Tumble in Winder, Georgia.  All cheerleaders MUST attend stunt camp in to be able to stunt throughout the season.  Mascots are not required to attend stunt camp. They are not allowed to stunt.

    Coaches

    Archers Football Cheerleading Program is completely staffed by volunteers.  Football Cheerleading in the ArcherCommunity will not be possible without you.
