2014 Registration

Registration will be open from Sept 15th through Nov 23rd. The Registration Fee will be $280, but please read below for early bird incentives.   This year, the Registration will include the $25 Team Spirit Fee for Year End Activities and All Officiating Costs (Eliminating All Admission Fees to Games).

Discounts (Apply to Fees below)

If Registered before Sept 30th, Archer Lacrosse will offer a choice of $30.00 off Registration or A Payment Plan (Sept=$100, Oct=$100, Nov=$80)


Fees:

Registration Fee-                    $225.00

Mandatory Spirit Fee-             $25.00

Mandatory Officiating Fees-   $30.00 (This will Eliminate all Gates Fees for Games)

Total                                       $280.00

There is a $90 Out of County Fee for those living outside Gwinnett County. This will be monitored closely by Gwinnett County Parks & Recreation.


-All Players will be responsible for purchasing their own equipment-

There will be a Mandatory Uniform Sizing on Sunday, November 24th and All Player Paperwork will be due as well.



Important Dates

Practice - We will practice four days a week for the first three weeks. After the first three weeks, we will drop back to two practices a week, with games on Saturday’s. Cancelled Practices due to inclement weather may have scheduled make-up date based on the Coaches Discretion and Field Availability.


Sept 8th-       First Sunday Throw Around (Free for Beginner & Experienced Players)

Sept 15th-     2014 Registration Opens

Sept 22nd-    Second Sunday Throw Around (Free for Beginner & Experienced Players)


Oct 6th-         Third Sunday Throw Around
(Free for Beginner & Experienced Players)


Oct 20th-       Fourth Sunday Throw Around
(Free for Beginner & Experienced Players)


Nov 3rd-         Sunday Throw Around


Nov 10th-        Sunday Throw Around


Nov 23rd-       Registration Closes-
There will be a $25.00 Late Registration Fee after November 23rd    
                        (Based on Availability Only)


Nov 24th      Mandatory    Uniform Sizing & All Player Paperwork Due

 

Due to Meetings and Coaches Clinics-

Throw Arounds Will Pick Up Again for a Couple Sessions in December (TBA)

 

-Practice Begins Mid January

- Games Begin February                       

-Championship Weekend will be held in Mid May

Paperwork Checklist:


1)    From the Lacrosse Page, Click on 2014 GLL eForms (complete and submit)

2)   2014 GLL Physial Form - This form can be downloaded and printed from the Lacrosse Page. This form must be completed by an MD, PA or NP. The completed form can be scanned in your computer and submitted by clicking on
 2014 Medical eCard from The Lacrosse Page.

3)  Print The Players Proof of Grade from The School Parent Portal. This can be scanned in your computer and submitted by clicking on 2014 GLL Grade eCard  from The Lacrosse Page. If using A Report Card, you are welcome to “Black Out” the grades. 

Equipment


Every player must be properly equipped to participate in all games and practices. Remember, the first half of the season can be downright cold. Make sure your player dresses warm with room for mobility. Sports Cold Gear works best- There many brands and choices out there.

All players will be provided with a game uniform and a practice pinnie / jersey.

1)   Lacrosse Helmet- White is Fine

2)   Lacrosse Shoulder Pads

3)   Lacrosse Arm Pads

4)   Lacrosse Gloves

5)   Stick

6)   Molded Mouth Piece with Strap

7)   Cleats- Not All Cleats are the Same- Football or Lacrosse Cleats work best



Girls

1)   Lacrosse Goggles

2)   Stick

3)   Molded Mouth Piece

4)   Cleats- Not All Cleats are the Same- Check with your local Sporting Goods Store.

5)   Girls Lacrosse Gloves (Optional)
